Image Composition
In this composition, the columns highlighted by red lines create a frame that draws the eyes of the player to what is inside. The guiding lines marked by white lines and the way the skeleton on the bottom right corner is facing, help direct the player's attention to the church in the distance.
Emotive Design
The diagonal shapes that are shown by the red lines insight fear and danger while the rectangular shapes in the center of the scene provide an opportunity to use them to continue through the space. The contrast between the shapes helps the platforms to stand out more.
Combat Spaces
When the player enters this combat space, a player front and an enemy front form immediately. To gain an advantage over the enemy, the player can use a flanking route consisting of high cover objects to break line of sight.
The No Man's Land in the middle discourages forward movement for both the player and the enemies. The combat space becomes more difficult to fight when the enemy is able to enfilade the player. This situation forces the player to leave their current position, move quickly into a new position and experience the combat encounter from another angle.
